This fourth of July weekend I decided to take the time to make my hubby's favorite dish, horseshoes. Some of you may not know what that is, so I will explain. Horseshoes are a local dish back home in central Illinois. It consists of two pieces of toast (one if you are having a ponyshoe) on the bottom, then the meat of your choice, followed by French fries and then topped off with a delicious cheese sauce. It is heaven if you love starch and cheese, and who doesn't? :)You can find the recipe on my food blog http://culinary-creations.blogspot.com/
