# 61 Finish taxes by Jan 31

Our taxes are finished, signed, and mailed! We didn't get them done by Jan 31st, but that is because the last W2's didn't come in until then. We did do them a week later though and we are getting $$$ back! This year I actually decided to take part in the filing. I asked C waay too many questions about the forms and boxes. At least I know how to do them now. Our taxes were complicated this year because we had income in two states, so we had to fill out non resident forms and all for IL and were further complicated by there being no state income tax in TX. They are done though!
